Building a 1940s Thanksgiving menu last year was tons of fun. I think that this year I will add to that menu. I’ll find a few variations and definitely add some more desserts to the mix, because we all know that the desserts are the best part of a big holiday meal.
This year, I want to write about some non-food related things, too, so there might not be quite as many Thanksgiving dinner-themed food posts as last year. There are some classic menu items that I don’t need to revisit. (Mashed potatoes come to mind.) If you have a request for me to add, let me know. I know that there are some regional food traditions that I won’t think of, so I am relying on you to help me out with those.
Since I am reviewing last year’s menu entries, I thought I’d link all of the posts here to help you find the ones you might be looking for. I’m looking forward to cooking a war-time Thanksgiving meal with you again!
