“Let’s Dance!” in 1941

I wanted to end the month by showing you a fun article about high school dances. The suggestions in the January 1941Woman’s Day article are aimed at high schoolers. There are decorating tips, simple punch recipes, and etiquette advice. I love the images! Look at the clothing and hairstyles of both the young people and their chaperones. The pictures were from a real-life Junior Prom in New York.

While this is a fun, light-hearted article, I have to wonder how many of these boys ended up fighting in the war over the next several years.
